Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operations
  • Follow recipes and adhere to culinary standards to consistently deliver outstanding results
  • Assist in menu planning, development, and innovation under the guidance of the Head Chef
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Monitor and manage food stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing waste
  • Ensure accurate portion control and proper food handling techniques
  • Support and train junior members of the kitchen staff as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate smooth service and meet guest expectations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, bringing new ideas and creativity to the kitchen
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a high-quality restaurant or culinary establishment
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of kitchen sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications are desirable
